VA Peninsula Media is the only locally owned news outlet dedicated to Peninsula life. It consist of the quarterly VA Peninsula Magazine and a weekly e-newsletter. The free print magazine highlights local people, events, food and drink, entertainment, and more. It is available in more than 90 locations in Hampton, Newport News, Yorktown and Poquoson.
The weekly e-newsletter has local features plus a list of upcoming events open to the public. An adoptable animal from the Peninsula SPCA is also featured.
Plans for 2023 is to grow to cover local government, economic development and education as well become a non profit.
