Product Marketing Specialist

We are looking for a Product Marketing Specialist to join our marketing team! This person will be a key member of the growing marketing team of a fast-growing, B2B SaaS startup. We’re looking for someone who identifies as a ‘doer’ and is comfortable working cross-functionally and externally to ensure customer insights are translated into amazing product and marketing experiences. This role partners regularly with Sales, Customer Success, and Product. You’ll be joining a dynamic team of experienced, data-driven marketers in the tech space. We are collaborators who work towards common objectives and also drive initiatives independently.

A potential day in the life of SVT’s Product Marketing Specialist:

  • Create content, assets, and tools including developing useful, strong sales enablement content (hands-on) to support sales efforts, partner sales, and multiple target personas I.e. video content, (presentations (ppt, etc), one-pagers, technical sales sheets, video scripting/storyboarding, etc)
  • Play with robots (yes, really!) in our Innovation Lab, partnered with Product and Sales teams, to create sales enablement and marketing content
  • Keep up to date on competitive research and report out intel to the team
  • Act as a voice of the customer; collect feedback from partner and end user-facing teams through frequent interviews and listening sessions with customers
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create marketing plans to support product and feature launch priorities
  • Project manage product marketing launches to ensure the team stays on schedule

Required skills/qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in developing customer-facing marketing content
  • Technical aptitude – Able to understand technical concepts and explain to non-tech audience
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent project management skills, and proactive follow-through as you work cross-functionally
  • A love of research and the ability to dig in and report what you are learning
  • Understanding or willingness to learn about key SaaS metrics, and how they relate to product marketing
  • Must be motivated by working with awesome people, and dedicated to helping take SVT to the next level
  • Must be a self-starter who excels at multitasking and thrives in a fast-paced environment

Bonus points if you have:

  • B2B or SaaS Experience
  • Demonstrated success at collaborating on launching new products and features
  • Comfortable using marketing automation tools (Hubspot, etc) to drive content and messaging strategies
  • Experience with startups, including demonstrated growth in a SaaS B2B product organization
  • Industry experience in industrial robotics, supply chain, or material handling
