Job Description

General Support

·       Support the Lead Advisor with analysis, client services and technical assistance

·       Handle case notes, processing correspondence, maintaining client case files, account forms and other advisory paperwork

·       Input client information in CRM software and maintain updated records

·       Assist with building financial plans for clients

·       Prepare reports, presentations and other materials necessary for client meetings

·       Coordinate marketing efforts and social media presence

·       Work with home office underwriting and support staff for client services


Client Service Responsibilities

·       Communicate with clients in an effective manner

·       Respond to routine client questions and service requests

·       Onboard new clients throughout the application and underwriting process

·       Confirm upcoming appointments and reschedule meetings as needed

·       Request, follow up and receive needed documents from clients

·       Schedule annual review meetings with clients

·       Assist with completing new client account forms

·       Maintain updated client information in CRM system

·       Record meeting notes and monitor status of on-going planning

·       Assist in generating reports for client reviews or as needed by clients



·       Bachelor’s degree

·       Health and Life licensing within 3 months of employment

·       Series 6 and 63 or Series 7 preferred or within 12 months of employment

·       Financial industry experience preferred

·       Excellent oral and written communication skills

·       Strong critical thinking, financial analysis and problem-solving skills required

·       Ability to work independently

·       Ability to manage multiple diverse projects and assignments in a timely manner

·       Strong attention to detail with the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy

·       Demonstrated ability to maintain effective working relationships with clients

·       Ability to maintain confidentiality
