Job Description:

Mentor Manager will oversee guidance and mentoring programs, ensuring that people are paired with an advisor or mentor who meets their specific needs. Keeps records of mentor program progress and reports this progress to their supervisor.

Job Duties:

●      Manages the recruiting, selection, and matching process
●      Works with each mentoring pair to provide resources and resolve issues
●      Communicates regularly with mentors and mentees
●      Provides training both initially and during the program
●      Obtains reports from mentors and mentees on program goals and results
●      Conducts an evaluation to determine the mentor and the program’s effectiveness
●      Communicates program results to participants and upper management
●      Conducts separate meetings with mentors and mentees to determine program progress and need for further assistance
●      Reviews program guidelines and makes appropriate changes to enhance program effectiveness
●      Markets the mentoring program to appropriate parties to generate interest in participation and gain support
●      Conducts orientation to explain program goals and the roles of mentors and mentees in the program
●      Performs other duties that may arise from the mentoring program that are necessary for program success
●      Maintain human resource files for all mentors as well as records of current, pending, and past mentors.
●      Provide ongoing support and supervision to mentors, specifically conduct at least once per month one-on-one supervision as well as ongoing responsiveness to mentor questions and concerns.
●      Provide ongoing education workshops to mentors at least once per quarter throughout the year
●      Conduct mentor mixers to recruit new mentors and facilitate new matches
●      Tracks mentor related metrics using CRM

To be successful as the 757 Collab Mentor Manager, you need to have/be:

 ·       Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
·       Superior multitasking and organizational skills
·       Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
·       Ability to take the initiative and anticipate needs of members, colleagues, and partners
·       Motivated self-starter and creative problem-solver who is able to work with minimal supervision
·       High proficiency with MS Office applications (CRM knowledge is a plus)
·       Ability to communicate to a broad range of constituencies with varied needs
·       Social Media literacy – specifically managing company accounts – Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram
