The Hive, in collaboration with the Virginia Beach Small, Women-owned, and Minority-owned (SWaM) Office, proudly announces the Economic Uplift Capital Accelerator Program, a groundbreaking initiative designed to boost economic growth in the Virginia Beach area. Facilitated by AGH Advisory Services, this program aims to offer valuable resources and support to local businesses.
The Economic Uplift Capital Accelerator-Virginia Beach focuses on three key areas:
- Social Capital: Networking opportunities, mentoring sessions, and 1-on-1 consultations will be provided to enhance business connections and partnerships.
- Knowledge Capital: A range of classes will be available, covering topics such as marketing, financial analysis, and wealth building through entrepreneurship.
- Financial Capital: Preparation for equity and debt capital funding will be offered to support businesses in their journey to financial success.
To be eligible for the program, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- The business must have been in operation for at least two years. Those operating for less than two years will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
- Businesses must be registered and in good standing to operate.
- A minimum annual revenue of $50,000 is required.
