New talent will leverage regional mentors to help more entrepreneurs in the 757.

“I am looking forward to leveraging the subject matter expertise of the 757 mentors across the multiple programs 757 Collab offers.”- Eileen Brewer, Mentor Manager

757 Collab, a powerful family of startup resources, proudly announces the addition of Eileen Brewer, 20-year Silicon Valley veteran, to drive 757 Collab’s growth. As 757 Collab’s program offerings have grown, we are serving more entrepreneurs, all of whom need mentorship. “We are thrilled to welcome Eileen to the team. Her extensive

experience in startup ecosystems in Silicon Valley and across the globe will be invaluable in helping us engage our mentors to help founders across 757 Accelerate, 757 Startup Studios and 757 Angels,” said Monique Adams, 757 Collab’s Managing Director.

Eileen brings more than 20 years of experience in the tech sector globally, including spending the last 18 months building the first tech startup accelerator in Iraq, where she recruited and engaged mentors from 13 countries to support the Iraqi entrepreneurs. Eileen is a 10-year veteran mentor of the US State Dept TechWomen program, Founder Institute, and Miller Center, so she knows first-hand what it is like to be a volunteer mentor. Now she will combine her leadership, program management, and mentoring skills altogether to take the 757 Mentor Community to the next level.

“We are grateful for the support of our generous sponsors, including TowneBank, Ferguson, Activation Capital and Go Virginia for providing the funding to hire Eileen to increase the success of the entrepreneurs throughout the region and state,” Adams continued.

Brewer, a California native, has worked for multiple tech companies in Silicon Valley for the last 20 years. From 2011 through 2019 she worked at Symantec, a cyber security company, where she was responsible for their enterprise hardware manufacturing. In 2015, she became a member of the Golden Seeds angel investing group because she saw the need to improve investments in female-led companies and has invested in seven startups so far. As a mentor for the US State Dept TechWomen program, she has traveled to over a dozen countries to deliver training and workshops on entrepreneurship. Over the last five years, Eileen has mentored over ten thousand students, encouraging them to become entrepreneurs and to help solve some of their country’s biggest challenges.
