YORK COUNTY — Coffee lovers and connoisseurs finally have a grand opening date from Column 15.

The nitro brew coffee business announced on April 23 in a live Facebook video that their roaster will be opening on May 15.

If you’re wondering if the May 15 date was chosen on purpose to coincide with the company’s name, co-owner Victoria Goldsby said it was a happy coincidence.

“We wanted the opening to be after mother’s day but before William and Mary commencement,” she said.

What is to be expected at the grand opening?

Free coffee, of course.

“We’re giving out free nitro brews and nitro creams, which are like a sweeter, creamer ice coffee,” Goldsby said. If you’re not a fan of cold coffee, Column 15 will also be giving out their hot coffee for free.

Column will also be selling tote bags, coffee mugs and other merchandise with discounts. Coasters made by local artist Grey Hash and baked goods from Rising Tide Provisions will be available for purchase as well.

Column 15 is located at 701-R Merrimac Trail in The Edge District. The roastery will open at 9 a.m. and close at 5 p.m. on May 15. A ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place at 3 p.m. Keep up to date on what’s happening at Column 15 by visiting their Facebook page.
